Meeting and negotiations at the Ministry of Construction

22nd April, in Ministry of Construction of Uzbekistan Batir Zakirov received a delegation led by First Deputy Chairman of the Korean-Uzbek Business Association (KUBA) Kim Chang Keon. The chief executive officers of Hanshin Engineering & Construction Choi Moon Kyu and PLUS International Kim Dong Yul also participated in the negotiations. During the meeting at the Ministry of Construction, the South Korean side presented a construction project in the city of Kokand of a modern residential complex "Kokand Hanshin Park City" and a signed investment agreement on the project. First Deputy Chairman of KUBA Kim Chang Keon turned to the Ministry of Construction with a request for special attention and active support, since the project for the construction of a new city of Kokand is an important investment project, even in the face of global pandemic problems, and is of great importance, directly related to the well-being of the Uzbek people. The Minister supported the implementation of this major project at such an important time for both countries when bilateral relations are entering new stages of development. The head of the company "Hanshin Engineering & Construction" Choi Mun Gyu expressed special gratitude to the leadership of Uzbekistan for the active support and assistance provided over the past two years in the preparation and conclusion of the necessary documents for the implementation of the project, such as the Memorandum of Understanding, the Memorandum of Understanding and the main document. - Investment agreement. He assured the Uzbek side that the company will build one of the best residential complexes of the South Korean type in Uzbekistan.
