On April 17, the International University of Korea in Fergana (KIUF), together with the Department of Public Education of the Andijan region, successfully held the Andijan Science Olympiad in 2021. In this Olympiad, qualifying rounds were held for all high school students in the Andijan region in mathematics and physics, 96 students took part in the final, and the winners were determined for each direction. The Olympics were run under strict Corona-19 quarantine rules, and KIUF awarded four-year scholarships ($ 3,200) to first-place winners in each direction and three and two-year scholarships to second and third-place winners.

In the future, we will continue to expand our efforts to develop the eastern region of the Republic of Uzbekistan by holding and sponsoring Olympiad-type events such as the Korean language, science, information technology, and K-POP in Fergana, Namangan, and Andijan regions. "

At the opening of the Olympiad, the anthem of Korea sounded, and the KIUF professors were deeply moved by the monitoring and scoring process on each test site, as well as the vision of the enthusiasm of the students who participated in the competition, and this was an opportunity to redefine the future role of the university.
