Khokim of Ferghana region Shukhrat Ganiev was appointed deputy prime minister and dismissed from the post of head of the region. His place was taken by Khairulla Bozorov, who left the post of khokim of the Namangan region. Shavkatjon Abdurazakov, who worked as the head of the State Committee for Ecology, was approved as the acting Khokim of the Namangan region.
