〔The trend in healthcare〕


1. Uzbekistan has increased the daily production of masks to 2.6 million. The number of manufacturers per month increased by 9 times


- In Uzbekistan, in March, the number of manufacturers of medical masks increased by 9.3 times and reached 195. As a result, the daily output of these products was able to reach 2 million 640 thousand units


- Currently, measures are being taken to increase the production of masks up to 5 million per day.


2. In Uzbekistan, they will begin to produce mechanical ventilation devices together with Chirana Asia


- As the head of the department of the Ministry of Innovative Development noted, the production of ventilators will begin in May of this year. Completion is planned until September this year, when the plant will be commissioned.


- At the first stage of production localization, foreign partners plan to make investments in the amount of $ 3 million; at the second stage, it is planned to invest up to $ 5-6 million. It is planned to sell products in Tajikistan, Turkmenistan, Kyrgyzstan and Afghanistan.


3. IDB allocated $ 17 million to equip new clinics in Uzbekistan

5. A pharmaceutical cluster “Tashkent Pharma Park” is being built in the Zangiata district


- On April 17, President Shavkat Mirziyoyev, via video conferencing, launched the construction of the Tashkent Pharma Park Innovative Research and Production Pharmaceutical Cluster in the Zangiata district of Tashkent region.

1. MDO provides free access to the online course “Become a schoolboy with Roboborik!”.

2. In order to improve the system of advanced training of health workers, providing training in this area for comprehensively developed personnel, the Presidential Decree "On measures to introduce a completely new training system and continuous professional development of personnel in the field of health care" was adopted.


- In accordance with the decree, 47 medical colleges will be transformed from the academic year 2020/2021 into the Abu Ali Ibn Sino Public Health Technical Schools and the share of non-core subjects in curricula is halved


3. The first private entrepreneurial university opens in Tashkent


- By the Decree of the Cabinet of Ministers No. 241 of April 18, a new private university, TEAM University, was established in Tashkent. The learning process at the university is organized in English, Uzbek and other languages, educational activities begin from the 2020/2021 academic year.


4. Pupils will continue classes in television lessons until the end of the school year


- Pupils will continue classes on television lessons until the summer holidays. The 2019-2020 academic year in secondary schools will be completed remotely.

5. Law faculties will open in Samarkand, Namangan and Termez state universities
